Who is the Sultan?

Sultan Pepper Shaker is a punchline of a joke that's told in the Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular "mini" broadway show production at the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure theme park. Whew, that was a mouthful to type out. In a scene where Jafar makes the wish for Genie to make him the Sultan, Genie in turn says, "You know, if your last name were PepperShaker...  you'd be Sultan Pepper Shaker!"

If you still don't get the joke, say the whole name a few times quickly and you'll get it soon enough. :)

A little more about me: I went to the Arts Institute of California in Orange County doing Interior Design. I focused on residential design and soon was working at Restoration Hardware doing visual merchandising. I was pretty much given (almost) full reign of making the store(s) look how I wanted, and how best to sell the merchandise. I've had clients come back and shop with us repeatedly, just to work with me and for my design aesthetic, which is clean and simple lines with a feminine and glam flair. I love anything that sparkles with anything that's old and vintage. What a cliche juxtaposition, I know, but it's better than that teal & brown craze that swept the nation a few years ago, don't you think?

The Blog: I'll (hopefully) be writing every so often (probably once a week due to my busy schedule). I get what is often referred to as a "design high" when I'm out window shopping/browsing at swap meets and online stores for fantastic design, and will post what I think would work best for the space. I recently just moved in with my sister (take that as a Yikes! or Congrats!, however you see fit) and our apartment is so "plain jane" right now, which means great opportunites for great blogging content. I hope you find my blog inspirational or helpful in some way, shape or form. :)
